Solomon Hainna brings veteran frontcourt grit and rebounding punch to UTRGV
Solomon Hainna is a seasoned 6-foot-7 forward whose game has been defined by physical rebounding, low-ego defense, and opportunistic scoring rather than high-volume shot creation. In his 2016-17 season at Evansville, he averaged 1.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 28 games with four starts, and at UTRGV he showed his value as a steady glue guy who could chip in when needed, including a 12-point outing against Georgia Tech in 2018. The main reason to care: he fits teams that want toughness, experience, and dependable effort over flash.
