Norfolk State DB Dustin Johnson brings proven ball skills and a wideout’s competitive edge
Dustin Johnson is a Norfolk State defensive back with a background as a productive high-school receiver, which often translates into better route recognition, ball tracking, and confidence in coverage. Norfolk State lists him as a DB, and his multi-position experience suggests a player who can process the game quickly and play with an aggressive, playmaker’s mindset rather than just relying on raw size or speed. For a team, he profiles as a useful depth piece or developmental defender with upside if he keeps sharpening technique and consistency.
