long, physical Hampton linebacker with upside and special-teams value
Kennedy Winston is a 6-foot-2, 220-pound junior linebacker for Hampton, giving the Pirates a sturdy, rangy defender with enough size to play downhill and enough length to finish plays in space. Hampton’s roster lists him at linebacker, but public stat detail is limited right now, so the best read is profile-based: a developmental defender whose value likely comes from physicality, reliability, and versatility rather than flashy box-score numbers. For a team, he looks like a fit if you want a tough, coachable linebacker with room to grow into a larger role.
