Eric Smith brings veteran forward touch and stretch-4 intrigue to Marshall
Eric Smith is a 6-foot-7 forward who’s best known for athleticism, perimeter shooting, and a game that fits modern spacing — the profile Marshall wanted when he first arrived as a junior-college signee. In his Marshall profile, he was described as an “extremely athletic” small forward with three-point ability, and his early college résumé showed a productive scorer and rebounder at John A. Logan College. The upside here is clear: if he’s engaged defensively and knocking down shots, he can be a clean fit for a team needing a versatile, floor-stretching frontcourt piece.
