Delaware State DB James Romain Brings a Proven, DB-First Mindset
James Romain’s college profile is light on official stats, but his fit is clear: he’s a Delaware State defensive back with a defensive-backs specialist mindset and a background that translates to coverage technique, footwork, hips, and reaction ability. His later football career and current DB coaching brand suggest a player who values detail, intensity, and teaching the position, which usually matters as much as raw measurables for secondary play. He looks like a good fit for teams that want disciplined, technically sound defensive back play rather than just splashy highlights.
