a Billikens forward with old-school rebounding grit
Marquita McFarland’s SLU profile appears in the program’s historical game logs, where she repeatedly flashed a hard-nosed, inside-the-arc presence, including double-doubles and strong rebounding nights in the 2004-05 seasons. Because current-season roster/stat data for a modern Marquita McFarland entry isn’t available here, there isn’t enough verified information to assess a 2025-26 performance profile or fit. The name still signals the type of player coaches love: active on the glass, physical around the rim, and willing to do the dirty work—exactly the kind of forward who can tilt a game without needing plays drawn up for her.
