Left-Handed Upside Arm with Power-Shape Projection
Winters is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound sophomore lefty for Gardner-Webb who arrived with a reputation for command and a developing fastball that sat around 85 mph as a recruit in the 2024 class; Prep Baseball Report Virginia ranked him 21st among pitchers in his class[2]. Gardner-Webb also described him as a pitcher with strong mound presence and a high ceiling, and he earned a 4.0 GPA commissioner’s award nod, which hints at a disciplined, high-character fit for a staff that values polish as much as stuff[2][3].
