Norfolk State’s guard profile is hard to verify right now
Publicly available, reliable 2026-era data on Hiraman Byrd’s current basketball production at Norfolk State is extremely limited, so the safest read is that he’s a guard listed in the program’s historical player records rather than a clearly documented current rotation piece. For a roster fit, that means more scouting is needed before making a call on shot creation, defensive impact, or role value; the available record doesn’t yet give enough verified game-stat context to sell him as a ready-made difference-maker.
