defense-first Bear with a proven winning edge
In the 2009-10 season, Yahosh Bonner was the Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year after anchoring Northern Colorado’s school-record 25-win run, and he finished that year at 5.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game. He was widely praised for tenacious, lock-down defense on top scorers rather than flash, which is exactly the kind of disruptive, low-ego guard who can tilt a game without dominating the ball. If you value toughness, discipline, and winning habits, Bonner’s profile is a strong fit.
