Oklahoma DT Trent Wilson: From 29-Snap Freshman to Spring Ball Beast
Incoming redshirt freshman Trent Wilson exploded during Oklahoma's 2025 spring ball, earning raves as a 'dude' who led his position group with veteran-like poise after logging just 29 snaps as a true freshman (19 vs. Kent State in a 44-0 rout). His rapid physical and mental growth makes him a primed rotational force on the Sooners' D-line—intense, explosive, and coach-ready. Why care? He's the breakout archetype for SEC depth; perfect fit for teams needing versatile, high-motor tackles who develop fast.
