Cole Garvin brings high-IQ, high-character quarterback traits to South Alabama
Garvin stands out less for flashy measurables and more for polish, poise, and leadership: he’s shown efficient passing ability in key games and comes with a strong academic and character profile, including a 4.48 GPA, National Honor Society, and heavy community involvement. That combination suggests a quarterback who is likely coachable, disciplined, and competitive—useful for a program that values decision-making and reliability over raw hype. If you want a QB fit who can handle structure, study, and responsibility, he checks a lot of boxes.
