Easton Trakel brings veteran slot-receiver savvy to Portland State
In the most recent available stats, Easton Trakel had 7 catches for 73 yards in the 2018 season and 1 catch for 2 yards in the 2019 season, while Portland State also noted that injuries had limited his availability and production. He stands out more as a gritty, experienced inside receiver than a pure volume burner: the Vikings described him as a slot receiver and kick returner, and prior coverage pointed to him as part of a receiver group expected to provide more production when healthy. If you want reliability, toughness, and a proven feel for the slot, he’s a fit; if you need explosive, headline-grabbing numbers, the tape has been quieter.
