Jac Smith brings glove-first reliability and quiet offensive value for Colorado State
In the 2026 season, Jac Smith has been a steady infield piece for Colorado State, appearing in 50 games, posting 11 runs, 15 hits and a team-best 105 fielding assists with 97 putouts. Her profile is built on defense, hustle, and versatility rather than loud power numbers, but she’s also chipped in timely contact and leads the Rams with two sacrifice hits. The vibe here is easy: if you want a dependable, scrappy middle-infield type who shows up every day and makes the routine look boring, Smith is your kind of player.
