Jeremiah Johnson is a sturdy, homegrown FSU back with upside
In the 2025 season, Jeremiah Johnson flashed compact power and efficiency for Florida State, rushing 10 times for 54 yards in limited action, including a 16-yard career long. At 5-foot-11 and 214 pounds, he brings a thicker, tackle-breaking frame and a linebacker background that hints at physicality and toughness—good signs for a downhill system. He entered as a preferred walk-on and worked through a redshirt season, so he was more developmental depth than featured piece, but his first reps showed he can be a reliable, hard-nosed rotational runner.
