Gavin Miller brings Pitt’s gritty, local bat with clutch moments
In the 2025 season, Pitt infielder Gavin Miller played in 32 games with 20 starts and showed up in big spots, driving in 13 runs and delivering game-changing hits, including the walk-off RBI in Pitt’s comeback win over West Virginia.[1][14] A Pittsburgh native and West Allegheny product, the senior R/R infielder gives the Panthers a steady, contact-first presence with proven late-game poise and a tough, hometown edge that can fit a roster needing reliable depth and clubhouse energy.[1][5]
