Jack Kelly enters VMI as a freshman defensive lineman at 6-foot-4 and about 240-260 pounds, and the staff has already described him as a body who can add size and depth to the front. His value is less about raw stats right now and more about projection: he looks like a classic developmental lineman with the frame to grow into a disruptive interior/edge piece if his hands, leverage, and first-step urgency translate. For a VMI roster that needs front-seven depth, he’s the kind of low-drama, high-upside bet worth watching.
