Ryan Keiper brings elite academics and dependable depth to The Citadel defense
Keiper is a high-IQ, high-character linebacker/special teams piece whose calling card is reliability rather than flash: The Citadel listed him as a senior who appeared in all eight games in 2009 and was recognized for a 3.98 GPA in civil engineering, signaling discipline and attention to detail.[1] His on-field footprint in the available stats is limited, but that also suggests a team-first role built on assignment soundness, toughness, and readiness to contribute wherever needed—useful if your staff values smart, low-maintenance depth and special-teams help over headline numbers.[1]
