experienced Valpo DB with proven ball-hawk upside
Jay LeAndre has been a multi-year defensive back for Valparaiso, and that kind of longevity usually signals trust from the coaching staff and a solid grasp of the scheme. Publicly available stat lines show he recorded interception production in earlier seasons, which points to good ball skills and field awareness, but there isn’t enough current, verifiable 2026 production in the available sources to make a fresh statistical claim. If you need a DB who likely brings experience, back-end steadiness, and veteran know-how more than flash, LeAndre is the kind of name worth a closer look.
