Experienced, instinctive DB whose best trait is football IQ
Pierce profiles as a smart, coachable defensive back with a history of making impact plays in limited action, including 12 tackles and a fumble recovery in 2023 before missing 2024 with injury[1]. Recruiting notes describe him as high-IQ, highly passionate, and quick to learn defenses, which suggests he can process routes and alignments fast rather than simply win with raw athleticism[3]. He also brings a competitive, hard-working mindset and has shown he can contribute as a dependable rotational defender if he stays healthy[1][3].
