Jared Edwards brings Baylor a productive edge presence with proven backfield disruption
Edwards profiles as a dependable Baylor defensive end who has already shown he can contribute with tackles and pressure, including 8 solo tackles and 1 sack in ESPN’s listed season stats. His value is less about flashy production and more about functional edge play: he can hold up physically, finish in the backfield, and fit into a defense that wants steady, assignment-sound run support from the edge. For a team needing a mature, low-drama defender who can rotate in and make honest plays, he looks like a solid fit.
