Berry gives UIW a steady backcourt connector
Cheyenne Berry profiles as a reliable, pass-first guard for UIW, with evidence of efficient shooting, solid rebounding for a guard, and above-average playmaking in her 2016-17 season at Incarnate Word, when she averaged 8.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game and ranked ninth in the Lone Star Conference in assists. Her value is the kind that often shows up beyond scoring: she can help organize offense, keep possessions clean, and fill multiple guard responsibilities, making her a good fit for a team that needs poise, connectivity, and a versatile two-way rotation piece.[1]
