Teddy Wilson brings edge, versatility, and special-teams juice to ETSU’s front seven
In the 2025 season, Teddy Wilson gave ETSU a reliable, physical linebacker presence in a limited role, appearing in eight games and finishing with 22 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a key fumble recovery against VMI; in 2024, he played every game and added 27 tackles, three tackles for loss, a sack, two pass breakups, and a forced fumble. He’s the kind of defender coaches love: active, assignment-sound, and willing to do the dirty work on defense and special teams. His standout trait is disruption — he’s shown a knack for backfield plays and momentum-shifting effort, including a blocked punt earlier in his career. He looks like a strong fit for a team needing toughness, energy, and reliable depth at linebacker.
