Ex-5-Star LB Talent Seeking Final Glory with Towson Tigers
Ricky DeBerry, a former 5-star Scout recruit and No. 2 national ILB from the 2015 class out of Atlee High (VA), brings elite pedigree to Towson as a 6-2, 235-lb LB with over 50 HS tackles and 12 sacks; after transferring from Oklahoma (5 tackles in 2016) and starting 9 games for the Tigers in 2018, injuries derailed his 2019 and 2020 seasons, but his Army All-American instincts, reactive quickness, and pursuit (rated 8-9 by 247Sports) make him a high-upside veteran. Perfect fit for teams needing gritty, versatile edge presence—watch for a bounce-back in 2021.
