Malik Hawkins brings veteran length and special-teams toughness to MTSU
Malik Hawkins is a senior, 6-foot-1, 225-pound linebacker for Middle Tennessee who has built his value on reliability and physicality, with 2026 roster information showing him as a seasoned Blue Raider presence[1]. His earlier production included 23 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks in a season where he earned a start, while another year showed him in 12 games with most of his snaps coming on special teams[1][3]. That profile says he is the kind of linebacker teams trust for effort, discipline, and depth more than splashy stat lines—a strong fit if you want a dependable, tough-minded role player[1][3].
