Colorado State TE search still points to a depth-chart battle, not a breakout star
No reliable current performance data for a Colorado State tight end named Lucas Mallory surfaced in the available sources, and the Rams’ 2026 roster listings highlight other TEs such as Rocky Beers, Ryan McConnell, Carlos Anaya, and Brock Camp instead. That means the best read here is developmental: if Mallory is on the roster or entering the mix, he’s likely being evaluated on blocking reliability, route precision, and special-teams value rather than proven production. For a team, that profile fits a grinder-in-training—useful if you want toughness and upside, but not yet a known stat-sheet disruptor.
