UCF's Elite LHP/OF with ACL Recovery Ahead
Hildie Dempsey, UCF's standout left-handed pitcher and outfielder, dominated in the 2025 season with a 4–1 win over Ohio (allowing just four hits in 5.0 innings) and earned Rock Valley Conference Player of the Year honors. Her dual-threat versatility, fierce intensity, and Wisconsin grit make her a rare fit for any team seeking a high-ceiling leader. However, she is currently medically out for 2026 due to a season-ending ACL and meniscus injury, requiring a full recovery before returning to peak form. While her strengths are undeniable, teams must weigh her injury timeline against her elite potential.
