Wyoming’s linebacker name to track, but public 2026 performance data is thin
Matt Barella is listed with the Wyoming Cowboys, but there isn’t enough reliable public 2026 stat or scouting detail here to credibly grade his current impact. The biggest takeaway: he’s on a roster at a linebacker spot that values speed, tackling range, and downhill physicality, so if he’s earning snaps, that usually means special-teams value and a chance to develop into a reliable depth piece. For a team fit, he’s the kind of watch-list defender you’d want to monitor for camp buzz, practice reports, and preseason role growth before making a real judgment.
