Jean Louis III brings compact-playmaker upside for Akron
In the 2025 season, Akron WR Jean Louis III logged 6 catches for 85 yards, averaging 14.2 yards per reception with a long of 24, and he enters 2026 as a redshirt junior at 5-foot-8, 185 pounds. He’s a small but quick slot-style target who can create separation and add chunk plays, but his production has been limited by playing time and usage, with only one appearance in 2024 and no game action in 2023. If a team wants a crafty, low-center-of-gravity receiver who can work underneath and potentially pop after the catch, he’s intriguing; if it wants proven volume, the résumé is still thin.
