tiny guard, big heartbeat for Siena
Mick Doemel is a 5-7 junior guard from Albany who has been a classic energy-depth piece for Siena, with career numbers that are modest but real: 0.4 points, 0.3 rebounds, and 0.0 assists per game across 7 career games, plus a 50.0% mark from three and 33.3% overall shooting in the available stat line. His differentiator is not box-score volume; it’s backcourt depth, local toughness, and the kind of selfless, practice-elevating presence coaches value in a walk-on guard. If a team wants instant production, probably not; if it wants a scrappy, accountable teammate with hometown roots and no ego, yes.
