Florida A&M’s Chris Thorpe brings captain-level edge and two-way production
Chris Thorpe is a proven, high-IQ defender who already showed he can impact winning, serving as a captain and earning Second-Team All-Sun Conference honors in 2023 while starting 16 of 18 matches and helping anchor a defense that allowed 1.4 goals per game with four shutouts. He also contributed offensively with three goals and three assists, which makes him more than just a stopgap at the back. For a team, that blend of leadership, consistency, and attacking upside is the appeal.
