Veteran dual-threat depth QB with real game reps and mobility
Eli Brickhandler gives Ohio State a seasoned, dual-threat quarterback with legitimate college snaps, mobility, and a tough profile that fits a depth or development role; in the 2024 season at Houston Christian, he threw for 557 yards and 4 touchdowns while adding 264 rushing yards and 4 rushing scores, showing he can create with his legs when the pocket breaks down. He is not a polished high-volume passer yet, but his experience, athleticism, and willingness to compete make him a useful roster fit for a program that values quarterback insurance and versatility.[1][3]
