physical, high-IQ Air Force linebacker with proven special-teams grit
Jacob Onyechi built his Air Force rep as a durable, assignment-sound linebacker: in the 2015 season he played 12 games with 7 starts, posted 25 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 2 pass breakups, and a fumble recovery, after 17 tackles as a sophomore in 2014. He’s the kind of Falcons defender coaches love—steady, disciplined, and willing to do the dirty work in a service-academy system that rewards toughness and mental sharpness. His mechanical-engineering background and leadership profile fit the “smart, reliable, low-drama” mold that travels well anywhere.
