Length, rim-running upside, but still searching for a consistent college impact
Shareef O’Neal brings NBA bloodlines, a 6'9" forward frame, and easy vertical pop that shows up in his finishing and shot-blocking flashes, but his college role at LSU was limited and production modest, with 2.9 points and 2.1 rebounds in 14 games in 2021-22. His appeal is as a high-motor, high-upside big who can change the energy around the rim, but injury history and inconsistency have kept him from becoming a dependable two-way frontcourt piece.
