J.R. Holder brings disruptive two-way energy to Jacksonville’s front line
Holder stands out as a high-motor forward who can impact a game beyond scoring, with evidence of real defensive playmaking after posting 6 steals, 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in a win at Kennesaw State; that kind of stat line suggests a versatile, active fit for teams that value intensity, versatility, and toughness on both ends. Jacksonville’s 2025-26 season has been uneven, so his appeal is that he can create momentum plays, defend multiple spots, and add toughness when the game gets physical.
