long, experience-rich perimeter guard with a scorer’s tool kit
Grandstaff is a 6-foot-4 guard whose appeal is size, shot-making, and the ability to stretch defenses from the perimeter, with DePaul noting his transfer pedigree and 247Sports highlighting his eagerness to expand his role with the Blue Demons.[1][3] The biggest reason to care is fit: he brings backcourt versatility and a ready-made offensive skill set, but his profile is also shaped by a winding college path and uneven production, so he projects more as a useful complementary piece than a surefire lead creator.[1][2][7]
