Freshman utility bat Mckenna Rinewalt is already delivering clutch moments for Northwestern State
Rinewalt has quickly shown she can be more than a prospect: Northwestern State’s freshman utility player delivered a 10th-inning walk-off hit in a statement win over McNeese, and her high school track record at Porter points to real middle-of-the-order upside. In 2024, she was a three-time all-district selection, hit .484 as a freshman, later broke the school’s single-season home run record, and entered college with 28 home runs and 100+ RBI in three seasons. She looks like a high-energy, impact bat with run-production upside and the versatility coaches love.
