a disruptive, low-key linebacker who made offenses miserable
Darien Anderson’s Alcorn State profile is built on production and edge: in the 2016 season, he was a first-team All-SWAC linebacker and an HBCU All-American, with 91 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 11 sacks. Coaches described him as fast and aggressive, and opponents felt it—he consistently lived in the backfield and brought a playmaking style without much flash. If you want a linebacker who diagnoses quickly, attacks downhill, and adds real pass-rush value, Anderson is the kind of tone-setter who fits.
