steady Wichita State guard with veteran-level feel
Brooke Atkinson is a Wichita State guard who brings a compact, low-maintenance game built on experience, spacing, and composure. In her Wichita State career, she appeared in 46 games and averaged 2.9 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.4 assists, with a 31.8% field-goal rate and 32.8% from three, which points to a role player who can stretch the floor but is not a high-usage creator. What makes her interesting is the guard skill package and basketball IQ: she has long been viewed as a reliable, team-first piece rather than a stat-sheet chaser, the kind of player coaches trust to understand the system, stay poised, and fit cleanly into a rotation.
