Rubin Stinson III brings veteran size and blue-collar edge to UAB’s linebacker room
Stinson III enters UAB as a redshirt senior linebacker at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, giving the Blazers an experienced, physically built defender with local ties from Hoover, Alabama[1]. His profile suggests a dependable, mature presence rather than a flashy stat-chaser, and that matters because veteran linebackers with his frame often stabilize run fits, communication, and special-teams value. Publicly available team information lists no recent game stats, so the best signal here is his experience, size, and likelihood of fitting a hard-nosed, assignment-sound defensive role[1].
