Mateen Bhaghani gives UCLA a steady, high-volume leg with proven range
In the 2025 season, Mateen Bhaghani was UCLA’s primary kicker and delivered 16-for-20 on field goals, 22-for-22 on extra points, and 70 total points, showing dependable touch on routine kicks and enough range to hit from 54 yards. He also handled kickoffs with 32 touchbacks on 50 kicks, a strong profile for field position. The big plus: he returned to UCLA for 2026 after briefly entering the portal, which signals trust, maturity, and value in pressure situations. Not flashy, but very roster-friendly.
