Kayla Preiss gives Butler a steady infield bat with timely run production
In the 2026 season, Kayla Preiss has been a useful middle-infield presence for Butler, contributing as a contact hitter and situational RBI producer, including a sacrifice fly RBI against Dayton on April 22, 2026. Butler lists her as a four-year Germantown standout who helped win four regional titles and a 2024 conference championship, which points to a proven winning background and competitive edge. At 5-8 and a freshman, she projects as a fit for teams that value consistency, composure, and someone who can move runners and handle pressure rather than just chase big power numbers.
