Young Fordham Guard Still Fighting for a Bigger Role
Franklin is a **low-minute, development-stage guard** for Fordham whose current impact has been limited, but his value lies in keeping a steady, ready-to-learn profile in a Division I backcourt. Fordham lists him as a guard who appeared in three games as a freshman in 2022-23 and did not see game action in 2023-24, while ESPN’s season line shows minimal production overall, underscoring that he is not yet a volume-stat player.[1][2] What makes him worth watching is the possibility of untapped upside rather than immediate box-score impact, so he fits best as a *project guard* with patience and structure.[1][2]
