Thomas Gehrke offers UTEP veteran size and frontcourt versatility
Gehrke is a 6'8" forward from São Paulo who gave UTEP useful depth and a steady multi-category profile, posting 3.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game with 35.3% shooting in ESPN’s player log. His value is less about volume scoring and more about being a big-bodied connector who can handle some playmaking and give lineup flexibility; UTEP’s 2003–04 tournament-era recognition also suggests he was part of a meaningful program cycle. For a team needing size, experience, and a low-drama role player, he fits as a depth piece more than a featured scorer.[1][3][5]
