Winthrop’s low-usage guard with a track-record of steady floor work
In the 2025-26 season, Chris Brown is listed as a Winthrop guard, but current public stat lines do not show meaningful production, with ESPN’s player page reflecting just 0.0 points, 1.0 rebound, and 0.0 assists per game and Winthrop’s roster page listing no season statistics. That means the appeal is less about box-score fireworks and more about whether he can provide reliable minutes, defensive connectivity, and guard depth; right now, he looks like a developmental fit rather than an instant-impact rotation piece.
