Fresh Guard with 'Coco' Intensity, Earning Trust After Suspension
Kuaneshia Baker, nicknamed 'Coco,' is a 5'10" freshman guard for the LSU Lady Tigers who brings explosive energy and defensive tenacity despite a suspension for the first eight games of the 2026-27 season for violating team rules. Averaging 2.2 points in 11.2 minutes across 13 games, her differentiator isn't scoring volume but her relentless intensity, quick first step, and ability to disrupt opponents—traits that make her a high-upside fit for teams needing a disruptive, high-motor guard. While her on-court stats are modest due to limited minutes, her personality is bold and playful, and she has shown rapid improvement in trust-building with coaches. She’s a good fit for teams valuing intensity and growth potential over immediate production, especially if they can manage her suspension history and channel her fiery personality.
