Osayi Osunde brings veteran linebacker instincts, academic polish, and a proven playmaking résumé
Osayi Osunde has long been defined by more than tackles: in the 2009 season, he posted a career-high 82 total tackles and 7.5 tackles for loss, finishing as a three-time All-CAA selection and the league’s Student-Athlete of the Year[1][2]. Scouting profiles praised him as a fast, physical outside linebacker with leadership qualities, strong cover range, and a high football IQ—exactly the kind of glue guy who can elevate a defense’s tone and communication[1][3]. If a team wants toughness, reliability, and a player who clearly competes with edge, Osunde checks a lot of boxes.
