Adrian Davis gives NIU a steady, uphill-running presence in the backfield
Adrian Davis is a Northern Illinois running back whose appeal starts with toughness and north-south intent: he fits a physical MAC-style run game, and his profile suggests a dependable back who can handle contact and keep the offense on schedule. Publicly available roster and profile sources confirm his NIU role, but current 2026 stat detail is limited, so the best read is that he’s a depth-and-rotation piece worth monitoring for workload growth, especially on a team trying to establish balance and physicality.
