Maryland's Resilient 6-4 WR Who Defied Injuries to Hit 2,000 Career Yards
Dontay Demus Jr. capped his Maryland career with 128 receptions for 2,008 yards and 14 TDs over 47 games (through 2022), ranking 7th in Terps history for yards despite major injuries like a torn Achilles that tested his grit—he remarkably returned for the 2022 opener vs. Buffalo with 3 catches for 23 yards. A confident, big-bodied deep threat (7 100-yard games), Demus shines on contested catches and big plays, earning 3x All-Big Ten honors; his Ravens preseason flashes (e.g., 47-yard grab) scream high-upside fit for teams needing a tough, reliable outside WR.
