Reliable, physical Wisconsin fullback with championship DNA
Austin Ramesh was a classic Wisconsin-style fullback: a 6-foot-1, 255-pound blocker who added real short-yardage value, scoring 5 rushing touchdowns in his Wisconsin career while appearing in 40 games with 18 starts.[2][6] His differentiators were physicality, versatility, and proven winning impact—he came from a decorated high school background as a 5,939-yard rusher and carried that toughness into a Badgers program that won 45 games over his four seasons.[1][2] He also missed time in 2017 after a concussion, so his value is best viewed as a tone-setting, downhill fit rather than a high-volume offensive weapon.[2][7]
