a Western Michigan linebacker name with old-school MAC grit, but no clear 2026 stat trail
Blair Eklund is listed with Western Michigan, but the available reliable records do not show current 2026 on-field production or recent scouting notes to grade him cleanly. The clearest signal is historical: Western Michigan’s own archives show an earlier Blair Eklund as a linebacker who appeared in the program’s stat tables, and the school also tied the name to strong academics. If you’re evaluating fit, the intrigue is more “know-the-name, verify-the-role” than headline-star territory right now—worth a deeper roster check before projecting impact.
